ESG Perspectives Newsletter H1 2025

The ESG Newsletter is published bi-annually to keep the investment community abreast of Fisher Investments’ ESG capabilities and projects. This edition covers FI’s corporate engagement highlights, updates on our international responsible investment initiatives, and more.

1. Corporate Engagement Update: Describes the efforts of FIIG and PMG to persuade companies to strengthen their ESG performance during 2024 – milestones and successes are noted on pg. 6.
2. Client Co-Engagement at FI: Provides updates on our client co-engagement service offering, including lessons learned from 2024 co-engagements and an increase in client demand for the offering.
3. Regulatory Update: Covers a recent legal bulletin from the SEC that provides updated guidance on shareholder proposal filing criteria.
4. Biodiversity Crisis & Corporate Engagement: An older version of this piece was included in a 2022 Newsletter – this has been refreshed to include recent biodiversity engagement examples and new/relevant regulatory guidance.
5. How FI Promotes Well-Functioning Financial Markets: Describes FI’s participation in global responsible investment networks, corporate engagement efforts, participation in working groups & roundtables, and our occasional direct communication with regulators to promote well-functioning financial markets and monitor alignment of our public policy positions with those of trade associations.
